Congratulations - you’re ready to hire employees!  Or, you think you’re ready to terminate someone’s employment and aren’t sure what’s legally required.  Employers have a number of  must-do tasks to consider before taking on these important decisions.  This introductory session will present 13 required tasks for each plus today’s best practices for California  employers.  When conducted outside of legal mandates, hiring and firing are two of the riskiest transactions you can conduct.  Get the information, then make informed decisions.  First  things first!
