Webinar: Startup Challenge Introductory Workshop

Startup Challenge, hosted by the CSUMB Institute for Innovation and Economic Development (and sponsored by Cal Coastal SBDC) is an annual competitive acceleration process for new businesses (less than 2 years old) in Monterey, San Benito, and Santa Cruz counties that teaches, coaches, mentors, networks, and connects entrepreneurs to the knowledge and resources they need.

Learn more about the competition and get help applying, preparing to pitch, and developing key aspects of your business at this Introductory workshop!

Presented on these two separate dates:

  1. March 2, 2021, 5-6 PM
  2. March 6, 2021, 4-5 PM

There are four divisions in the competition:
• Venture Division is open to businesses that are intended to scale and provide venture-investor level returns.
• Main Street Division is open to small businesses,
• Social Venture Division for non-profit and for-profit businesses with a social mission.
• Student Division is open to students in high school, community colleges, colleges, and graduate schools.

• Cash prizes for winners in each division.
