The SoCal Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) and the Veterans Business Outreach Center Region IX will co-host:  Virtual Veterans and DVBE Small Business Summit In Celebration of National Veterans Small Business Week. 

The event will put the spotlight on the veterans’ resourcefulness and passion in solving problems and making their businesses profitable as quickly as possible. It will also highlight how veteran-owned businesses are pivoting to adapt and innovate in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.

There will be four panel presentations :

· Veteran business owners share how they pivoted and grew during the COVID-19 pandemic

· Alternative business financing resources

· Government contracting for veteran-owned businesses

· Cybersecurity: Protecting your business in the digital age

There is no charge for this event. Registration is required on Eventbrite.

The VBOC mission is to advance the growth and commercial competitiveness of veteran-owned small business enterprises through education and services focusing on workforce improvement, business development, technology deployment, and e-commerce.

The VBOC program is funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Office of Veterans Business Development (OVBD). The VBOCIX is also partially-funded by a grant from the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development.
