Apparel Graphics

Paul Riva started Apparel Graphics with his partner Jason Turnage when they realized they shared the same passion for apparel design. Paul was just out of High School when he and Jason started Apparel Graphics Inc. Unfortunately, Jason passed away in 2012, and Paul continued with their passion for designing and becoming a business owner. Paul came to Valley Sierra SBDC in January 2021 to receive advice on developing business and operating plans as well as optimizing his systems to increase revenue. Paul was also seeking HR assistance for guidance in navigating Employee Performance Evaluations.

Paul was connected with our consultant Bob McDonald to assist him with creating a more efficient business and operating plan. Bob assisted Paul with restructuring his production and scheduling plan throughout the period of three months.  In April, Paul asked Bob for advice on utilizing computer sales reports to get more business visibility. In December 2021, Brett Weitl, Operating Manager of Apparel Graphics, requested assistance in HR to get advice on how to complete Employee Performance Reviews. Valley Sierra SBDC Consultant Lourdes was able to assist Apparel Graphics with their people operations, in addition to helping them overcome language and cultural barriers.
