Helping Your Business Start, Grow and Succeed
"1:1 consultations with my business advisor were the most valuable assistance I could have received. The information on the SBA website is very helpful as well. The ability to have one on one conversations with an advisor was very helpful for myself to get questions answered that are specific to my industry and my business. This also allowed me to make real progress in my business by setting attainable goals and weekly check-ins. My advisor would hold me accountable to the things I agreed to accomplish, and that is a resource I desperately need as a chronic overthinker. The assistance with my website is also an invaluable resource. There is so much I do not know about website design. The ability to have conversations with someone who is familiar with this and is there to help me succeed is so important to me. I am forever grateful for SBDC, my advisors, and their guidance.” -Rachel Kim Richofsky, Owner

Grainy Days Kitchen

Rachel Richofsky recently formed a single-member LLC, "Grainy Days Kitchen LLC," located at 1700 Eucalyptus St., Atwater, CA 95301. Inspired by her lifelong passion for baking and industry experience, Rachel set out to create a cottage food business offering quality, small-batch artisanal baked goods. This venture marks the first step towards her larger goal of establishing a farming business.

Facing the challenge of developing a comprehensive business plan, Rachel sought assistance from SBDC. With their support, she successfully crafted a business plan through Live Plan, developed a marketing strategy, and prepared to launch her website. This support enabled her to launch her business, creating one job and making sales.

Rachel credits SBDC's resources and guidance with being crucial to her successful launch.
