*WEBINAR: Managing Your Small Business Beyond the Pandemic

Wednesday, April 20, 2022 - 12:00pm to 1:00pm
Price:
FREE

Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden will be joined by Kurtis Clark, executive director of the Central CA Regional SBDC network. Clark will discuss the nearly $800,000 in microgrants that will be coming to Central California through the SBDC from the California Dream Fund Seed Grant Program. He will take a detailed look at the eligibility requirements, training options, and overall framework applicants need to know if they want to apply.

The State of California created the program to provide individual microgrants up to $10,000 to seed entrepreneurship and small business creation in underserved small business groups that face capital and opportunity gaps.

Additional topics will include recent changes in the SBA’s Community Advantage lending program, updates on Kern County’s $1.2 million Microbusiness Relief Grant Program, the U.S Treasury Department State Small Business Credit Initiative [SSBCI] to help small businesses in disadvantaged communities, the Economic Injury Disaster Loan, Employee Retention Credit, and more.

Questions from attendees will be taken.

This marks the 110th in the weekly “Webinar Wednesday” series that provides reopening and current pandemic relief updates on available federal, state, and local funding options, tax credit programs, employee programs, and other opportunities helpful to employers and business owners.
