Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden will begin the webinar with updates on a variety of government pandemic relief programs and small business recovery opportunities. He will then be joined by Bill Britton, CIO and Vice President of Information Technology and Director of the California Cybersecurity Institute at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Britton will discuss the cybersecurity threats that small and medium businesses face, along with farmers and others. He will also explain what can be done to reduce the risk of ransomware and other challenges of operating online.  

Britton has more than 30 years of experience in IT leadership, cybersecurity, space, and defense. He was first introduced to cybersecurity during his 20-year career as an Intelligence Officer and Electronic Warfare Officer in the United States Air Force.    

Questions from attendees will be taken.
