Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden will begin the webinar with an update on the California Dream Fund and other remaining available government pandemic relief programs.

Bearden will be joined by James Thomsen, lead SBDC consultant who specializes in business management, funding sources and international trade. They will discuss crowdfunding as a way to raise money to finance start-ups and businesses.

Prior to the SBDC, Thomsen retired as president of Outdoor International at VF Corporation where he was responsible for acquisitions that included EastPak, Kipling, Vans, The North Face and others.

Questions from attendees will be taken.
