On this week’s free webinar, SBDC director Kelly Bearden will be joined by Kathleen Minogue, CEO and founder of Crowdfund Better, a national crowdfunding education and technical assistance organization. Minogue will discuss key points for crowdfunding success, how crowdfunding can work in combination with other capital-raising tools, and how to understand if it is a good fit for a small business. Worksheets will be provided to attendees.  
 
Minogue has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and PwC Women Unbound report. She previously worked with technology venture capitalists while in the investment banking division of JPMorgan Chase. As creator of The Crowdfund Better Process® Minogue focuses on bringing the opportunity to women, minority, veteran, and rural entrepreneurs.  
 
Bearden will begin the webinar with information on two upcoming SBA webinars for Paycheck Protection Forgiveness and the EIDL Hardship Accommodation Plan Program, a look at the economy, and other local and regional issues impacting small businesses. 
 
Questions from attendees will be taken.
