Networking fell by the wayside at the start of the pandemic with many business people only talking to existing contacts via Zoom. Rebuilding connections and learning how to network are among topics in this week’s free webinar presented by the Small Business Development Center at CSU Bakersfield.  

Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden will begin with news and brief updates on programs that affect small business recovery. He will be joined by Bob Meadows, Economic Development Director for the City of Shafter. They will discuss strategies for networking in a post-pandemic world whether rebuilding connections, or meeting new people and starting a new network. 

Meadows career as a banker for approximately 40 years includes time and networking in branch management, business and community development, commercial lending, leadership training, and state advisory councils. 

Questions from attendees will be taken.
